Monday 18th September 2023 – KCM Trade’s Chief Market Analyst, Tim Waterer, was invited to appear on the BBC this week for a wide-ranging interview. Appearing on the Asia Business Report program, which was screened on the BBC’s UK and World television feeds, Tim spoke to host Arunoday Mukharji about the upcoming central bank events around the globe.
Tim gave key insights on what to expect from the US Federal Reserve and Bank of England monetary policy decisions in the week ahead, while also discussing China’s latest stimulus efforts and whether we can expect further cuts to the Loan Prime Rates (LPR) in China.
Following his appearance on the BBC News, Tim commented “There are a lot of key events on the economic calendar this week, with rhetoric and actions from central banks likely to influence market sentiment from an interest rate perspective. I enjoyed chatting with the BBC and providing a preview of events for the coming week in financial markets.”
